Ezra 4:1-5; 5:1-5

Due to political turmoil and conflict in the Persian leader, the temple construction work began Zerubbabel Working with our partners in the second year reign of King Darius (Ezr 4:24) and finished sixth in the reign of King Darius (Ezr 6:15). Then the next month the nation of Israel was able to celebrate Passover in the Temple which had been completed. The second temple could stand because there are people who fought with tenacity. The Prophet Zechariah, who saw the diligence and perseverance Zerubbabel admitted his struggle, so he writes in the book he wrote, "The hand of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will also finish." (Zak 4:9 a). The second temple became a symbol of God's generosity and a proof of how great the struggle Zerubbabel.
Time to test and prove that Zerbabel is a true warrior by doing several things:

Starting and do the job until completion.
Construction of the temple by Zerubbabel Working with all business partners have to be stopped by the enemy. The first enemy is the Samaritan who estimated it had occupied in the year 676 BC (Ezr 4:2-24). And the other is the Tatnai, regent of that area west of the Euphrates. Tatnai tried to block development by sending a written request to re-Darius to check on the validity of the decree was working on a project Zerubbabel. When employees seek court records document the validity of these, then found in the Charter of the decree of Cyrus in the archives in Babylon who gave permission and promises to do development costs. So that the temple construction work continued until the end.

Facing an enemy with wisdom
The Bible does not tell the enemy with Zerubbabel faced counterattack. He just stand by and continue to do what God had commanded him. He fully believed in the defense of God, because God promised to work with him in building the temple. "But now, strengthen your heart, O Zerubbabel, ... work, for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts." (Hag 2:5). The decision to not strike back and continue doing other work while waiting for the defense of God on the matter indicates that Zerubbabel was the leader of the patient and wise.
The challenge is a positive thing if we can determine the correct attitude, when met with challenges, such as we are molded into a resilient person, patient, diligent and strong in the Lord.

A person does not live successfully as a rich and respected, but because the calm, diligent, persistent and spirit within.
