After a long week of teaching and counseling in Norway, I feel "fed up to the people". I love my job, but at the end of each day, week after serving for 18 hours, I really want to be alone. Be thankful because God promised relief and will always give you strength. You are experiencing a struggle, problem or sickness? Give thanks, because it's time you learn to rely on God more than anything and witnessed the power of God going on in your life. When you go to bed, you will wake up with a new blessing every morning that comes from God. (Lamentations 3:22-23). There are a lot of work to be done, that means belief that God has given even greater. Then do it well, because God has been equipping with no little talent too, and use it to glorify God. If we look at the way the biblical figures, we will see also that they are all hard workers and none of them idle. Everyone must be tired, but they still have a passion because they know that these are blessings from God, and God promises a glorious success in every good work done in earnest in his name. God promises us a "head and not the tail, keep up and not going down" (Deuteronomy 28:13) if we are faithful to do all that He gives to us. Next look at the word of God is: "Have you ever seen those skilled in his work? In the presence of the kings he would stand, not in front of people who are despicable." (Proverbs 22:29). Such was the reward for those skilled in his work, who did his job very seriously and earnestly. If the Lord be with, whatever we do will be made successfully. (Genesis 39:2,3,23). Be thankful for the work that piled up, the weight, because it is a priceless blessing of God's great, and behind it all the success he had been provided to us. If you feel tired today, thanks.

Full working day made me start to feel out of gasoline to continue the task one by one to finish, including writing reflections that have become my commitment to do every day. Working in several areas of concentration are demanding more. My wife and I are currently busy with the move, on the one hand to pack the goods and on the other side of renovating the house next to be occupied. It really takes time and effort, because we have to back and forth to buy paint and other equipment, taking care of this and that related to the move. If that alone is reach for mercy, music sites that I manage it, too, was a solid schedule. There are so many events that must be written, there is an album that must be reviewed and so on. So as I mentioned at the beginning, I felt like running out of gas, extraordinary fatigue. As I write this reflection, it's stamina is depleted. But the difference with the previous hour, now I feel such joy and get extra energy to continue the task with the best until the end. What makes it? Today's verse reading the answer. Praise the Lord, in a state of extraordinary task heap turned out to God to understand this and strengthen me through His Word!
This verse tells of the appointment of Bezaleel and Aholiab to build the Tabernacle that starts from the end of the previous chapter. "Moses said to the people of Israel:" Behold, the Lord has appointed Bezaleel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and had been filled with the Spirit of God, with skill, understanding and knowledge, in all kinds of jobs. "Tetapi, kalau kalian memang mau membantu, bantulah cuci
piring-piring di dapur. Beberapa hari ini sudah menumpuk."
Meskipun hanya guyonan, kisah di atas mengingatkan kita untuk
mengembangkan kepekaan dalam menolong dan mengasihi sesama. Berdoa
untuk kebutuhan orang lain tentu tidak keliru, tetapi alangkah
baiknya kalau kita memeriksa lebih jauh, adakah tindakan praktis yang
dapat kita lakukan untuk meringankan beban orang tersebut. Hal itu
selaras dengan nasihat Yohanes. Ia menegaskan bahwa kasih itu bukan
hanya berupa perasaan yang hangat, sikap yang baik, atau perkataan
yang ramah. Kasih tidak jarang mengundang kita untuk melakukan
perbuatan baik sebagai perwujudannya. Tanpa disertai perbuatan, kasih
akan menyerupai tong kosong berbunyi nyaring.
Hari ini, sesungguhnya setiap hari, merupakan kesempatan baik bagi
kita untuk mengungkapkan kasih. Bukan hanya dengan perkataan,
melainkan juga dengan perbuatan (ayat 18). Orang-orang di sekeliling
kita, baik di rumah maupun di tempat kerja, pasti memiliki berbagai
kebutuhan. Selain menyampaikan perkataan yang simpatik, kita dapat
melangkah lebih jauh dalam menunjukkan kasih kita, yaitu dengan
memikirkan cara-cara praktis untuk menolong mereka --ARS

Nyanyian dalam kehidupan umat kristiani memiliki tempat yang sangat
penting; bukan hanya dalam ibadah formal, melainkan juga dalam hidup
sehari-hari. Melalui nyanyian yang kita naikkan atau dengarkan kita
bisa merasakan, bahkan mengalami, kasih dan kuasa Allah. Seperti
yang dirasakan dan dialami oleh Paulus dan Silas.
Karena fitnah, Paulus dan Silas mengalami penganiayaan dan
dipenjarakan (ayat 23). Bahkan juga dibelenggu dalam pasungan yang
kuat (ayat 24). Tetapi, mereka tidak mengeluh ataupun berputus asa.
Pada ayat 25 dikatakan demikian: "Tetapi kira-kira tengah malam
Paulus dan Silas berdoa dan menyanyikan puji-pujian kepada Allah dan
orang-orang hukuman lain mendengarkan mereka." Lalu terjadilah gempa
bumi yang hebat. Semua pintu penjara terbuka, dan mereka terlepas
dari belenggu (ayat 26).
Mungkin sekarang ini Anda tengah mengalami penderitaan yang hebat;
kesulitan dan persoalan bertubi-tubi datang menerpa, beban hidup
terasa berat, masa depan suram tidak menentu. Anda pun seolah hidup
dalam penjara kepahitan. Jangan kecil hati, naikkanlah pujian.
Seperti nyanyian ini: "Tenanglah kini hatiku, Tuhan memimpin
langkahku. Di tiap saat dan kerja tetap kurasa tangan-Nya. Tuhanlah
yang membimbingku; tanganku di pegang teguh. Hatiku berserah penuh,

1 Samuel 1:19-20
Beberapa tahun yang silam, saya pernah menonton sebuah pantomin yang dibawakan oleh tim pelayanan. Pantomin yang menceritakan tentang seorang yang menyerahkan hatinya kepada manusia, namun akhirnya hati itu di buang dan hancur berkeping-keping. Dengan tangis dan perasaan sedih, seorang tersebut mengambil satu per satu kepingan hatinya, ia mengangkat hatinya yang sudah hancur dan menyerahkan kepada tangan Tuhan. Dengan kasih Allah, Allah menyusun kembali menjadi sebuah hati yang baru. Berharap kepada manusia dapat menghancurkan hati kita, jika kita berserah penuh kepada Tuhan, Ia akan menjaga dan memulihkan kepingan hati kita.
Awalnya hati Hana hancur dan tertekan sehingga ia menangis dan tidak mau makan. Tetapi setelah berdoa dan mendapat jawaban dari Tuhan melalui Imam Eli, ia tidak lagi bersedih hati, walau yang diminta belum terlihat didepan matanya. Alkitab menulis bahwa mukanya tidak lagi muram dan ia mau makan ( 1 Sam 1:18 ). Apa yang menjadi inspirasi kita dalam kisah Hana ?
1. Apakah doa kita akan diterima atau tidak, terus berdoa adalah suatu yang harus kita lakukan. Tuhan akan melakukan sesuatu untuk kita, memulihkan dan menghibur dengan waktu yang sudah Tuhan tetapkan.
2. Berserah penuh dalam doa. Hana memberi contoh yang baik dalam berdoa, benar-benar menyerahkan bebannya kepada Tuhan dan percaya. Tidak sedikit orang percaya yang sudah menyerahkan bebannya kepada Tuhan dalam doa, kemudian melakukan hal yang sama seperti sebelumnya, kembali bersedih dan memikul beban yang sudah diserahkan kepada Allah. 1 Ptr 5:7 dituliskan ' Serahkanlah " bukan dengan tulisan " Titipkanlah ".
Hana yakin sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan dengan menyerahkan dan percaya segala bebannya kepada Tuhan akhirnya membuahkan hasil. Hana yang selalu tekun berdoa dari tahun ke tahun akhirnya mengandung dan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki yang diberi nama Samuel. Doa yang cukup lama mungkin akan memberi rasa bimbang, doa yang hanya sehari, sebulan masih dapat kita pahami. Bagaimana dengan doa yang terus dilakukan dari tahun ke tahun seperti Hana

"Penghulu malaikat" (ho archanggelos). Kata arch berarti chief (kepala). Istilah archangel ini menunjukkan adanya tingkatan dalam kalangan malaikat, demikian juga dalam kalangan setan. (band Mrk 9:28-29 dan Ef 6:12).
"Ketika dalam sebuah perselisihan bertengkar dengan Iblis mengenai mayat Musa" (ay 9a). Dalam PL tidak disebut cerita ini. Ul 34:5-6 hanya menceritakan bahwa setelah Musa mati, ia dikuburkan oleh Tuhan di suatu lembah di tanah Moab, tidak ada yang tahu kuburannya. Tetapi ini bukan suatu yang aneh kalau penulis PB melengkapi PL, seperti: (1) 2 Tim 3:8 memberikan nama Yanes dan Yambres, sebagai ahli-ahli sihir Mesir, yang tidak ada dalam Kel 7:11; (2) Yak 5:17 mengatakan bahwa Elia berdoa supaya hujan jangan turun, sehingga akhirnya hujan tidak turun selama 3,5 tahun. Ini merupakan bagian yang melengkapi cerita tentang Elia dalam 1 Raj 17-18; atau (3) Kis 20:35 di mana Paulus mengutip kata-kata Yesus, yang berbunyi "Adalah lebih berbahagia memberi dari pada menerima" yang tidak pernah ada dalam kitab-kitab Injil. Jelas bagian ini harus dianggap sebagian bagian yang melengkapi kitab-kitab Injil dan kemungkinan Yudas mengutip bagian ini dari tradisi Yahudi yang beredar saat itu. Ada kemungkinan, Tuhan menugaskan Mikhael untuk menguburkan dan menjaga mayat Musa. Sebaliknya, Setan ingin mayat Musa supaya bisa digunakan untuk menjatuhkan bangsa Israel ke dalam bentuk penyembahan kepada mayat Musa. Perselisihan akhirnya tidak bisa dihindari, mereka berselisih dalam arti pertengkaran mulut.
Mikhael berkata "kiranya Tuhan menghardik engkau!" (ayat 9b band. Zak 3:1-2; 2 Ptr 2:11-12). Mikhael tidak mengucapkan kata-kata yang memaki atau ucapan hujatan kepada Iblis, hal ini bukan takut kepada Iblis, tetapi karena Mikhael takut kepada Allah. Sikap Mikhael berbeda dengan sikap guru-guru palsu yang dibicarakan Yudas, yang begitu berani melakukan hujatan (ayat 8,10). Ucapan dan kata yang keluar dari mulut Mikhael menunjukkan bahwa ia menyerahkan penghakiman terhadap Iblis kepada Allah (bdk. Rm 12:19; Yak 4:11-12)
Allah perdamaian tidak melayani kata yang kasar dengan roh kemarahan, dan perang Yesus tidak butuh senjata yang bersifat jasmani.

"Penghulu malaikat" (ho archanggelos). Kata arch berarti chief (kepala). Istilah archangel ini menunjukkan adanya tingkatan dalam kalangan malaikat, demikian juga dalam kalangan setan. (band Mrk 9:28-29 dan Ef 6:12).
"Ketika dalam sebuah perselisihan bertengkar dengan Iblis mengenai mayat Musa" (ay 9a). Dalam PL tidak disebut cerita ini. Ul 34:5-6 hanya menceritakan bahwa setelah Musa mati, ia dikuburkan oleh Tuhan di suatu lembah di tanah Moab, tidak ada yang tahu kuburannya. Tetapi ini bukan suatu yang aneh kalau penulis PB melengkapi PL, seperti: (1) 2 Tim 3:8 memberikan nama Yanes dan Yambres, sebagai ahli-ahli sihir Mesir, yang tidak ada dalam Kel 7:11; (2) Yak 5:17 mengatakan bahwa Elia berdoa supaya hujan jangan turun, sehingga akhirnya hujan tidak turun selama 3,5 tahun. Ini merupakan bagian yang melengkapi cerita tentang Elia dalam 1 Raj 17-18; atau (3) Kis 20:35 di mana Paulus mengutip kata-kata Yesus, yang berbunyi "Adalah lebih berbahagia memberi dari pada menerima" yang tidak pernah ada dalam kitab-kitab Injil. Jelas bagian ini harus dianggap sebagian bagian yang melengkapi kitab-kitab Injil dan kemungkinan Yudas mengutip bagian ini dari tradisi Yahudi yang beredar saat itu. Tradisi tidak selalu benar, tetapi ada yang benar, dan Yudas mengutip yang benar.
Mengapa ada pertengkaran antara Mikhael dengan Iblis tentang mayat Musa?
Banyak orang mempunyai pendapat bahwa Tuhan menguburkan mayat Musa agar tidak ada orang yang tahu letak kuburannya, karena Allah tidak mau orang Israel menjadi menyembah mayat Musa. Hana, seorang istri yang mempunyai cerita dari sisi yang berbeda, seorang istri dengan kehidupan pernikahan yang poligamis. melalui kehidupan pernikahan Elkana yang poligamis, kita akan mendapat pelajaran hidup yang berharga. Ada dua pokok yang dapat disaring menjadi hikmah.
1. Poligami akan mendatangkan penderitaan.
Poligami artinya beristri lebih dari satu orang, sedang poliandri adalah mempunyai suami lebih dari satu. Meski banyak pemimpin PL yang mempunyai istri lebih dari satu, namun poligami pada dasarnya bukanlah maksud Tuhan bagi sebuah pernikahan kristen yang kudus. Prinsip Allah untuk pernikahan sangat jelas dalam Kejadian 2:24 di mana seorang laki-laki akan bersatu dengan seorang perempuan. Allah merancang sebuah kebahagiaan dalam pernikahan. Jika secara jujur kita bertanya, untuk pria dan perempuan, tidak ada seorangpun yang bersedia jika pasangan hidupnya dimiliki orang lain.
Dalam pernikahan poligamis, akan ada pihak yang disakiti dan merasa dirugikan. Dalam kasus perkawinan Elkana dengan kedua istrinya, yaitu Hana dan Penina, Hana adalah pihak yang disakiti, walau ia adalah istri yang pertama. Elkana mengasihi Hana disebut dalam Alkitab, namun dalam diri Hana masih tetap ada rasa "direndahkan".
2.Fokus hanya pada kesulitan hidup, lupa dengan kebaikan Allah
Satu kelemahan Hana adalah ia membiarkan beban dan kegetiran hidup menguasai hidupnya, sehingga ia tidak bisa melihat dan syukur atas kebaikan Tuhan lewat suami yang tetap sayang padanya. 1 Samuel 1:5 "Tetapi kepada Hana, ia memberikan dua bagian, karena ia mencintainya." Kepada Penina dan anak-anaknya hanya diberikan sebagian.
Pada waktu beban hidup menjadi semakin berat, pandanglah kebaikan Tuhan yang akan membuat kita menjadi bersyukur dan tidak semakin dalam dalam penderitaan yang menekan jiwa.

Andrew Murray merupakan salah seorang penulis literatur-literatur kebaktian dan seorang pemimpin gerakan Keswick. Ia juga dikenal sebagai ilmuwan besar di Afrika Selatan. Ia melayani Tuhan sampai akhir hayatnya, dan pengabdiannya pada kehidupan yang penuh tantangan yang diwariskan dalam banyak tulisan telah memberkati banyak orang. Salah satu penulis biografi orang-orang ternama mengatakan bahwa Murray telah menulis tidak kurang dari 240 buku dan brosur dalam bahasa Belanda dan Inggris. Banyak dari buku ini telah diterjemahkan ke dalam bahsa Perancis, Jerman, Spanyol dan Denmark. Selain buku tersebut ia juga menulis sejumlah artikel.
Tahun-tahun terakhir hidup Andrew Murray adalah masa meletusnya Perang Dunia I yang juga mengambil nyawa anak laki-lakinya Haldane. Pada tahun 1916, ia berkotbah di Welington untuk terakhir kalinya. Berbicara soal penderitaan, itu bukan hal yang asing bagi Murray. Bertahun-tahun lamanya ia menderita karena pengerasan pembuluh darah, tapi ia terus bertahan meskipun tidak lepas dari serangan penyakit influenza. Murray meninggal dunia pada usia 89 tahun.
Tulisan yang bisa memberkati kita saat sedang dalam penderitaan karena melayani Tuhan. Sebagai dasar tulisannya, Murray mengutip ayat di dalam Mazmur 50:15. " Berserulah kepadaKu pada waktu kesesakan, Aku akan meluputkan engkau, dan engkau akan memuliakan Aku. Di saat kesukaran, orang percaya dapat berkata: Ia membawa aku ke sini dan oleh karena Dia aku ada di tempat sulit, dalam hal itu pun aku tetap tenang. Ia akan menjagaku di sini dalam cintaNya dan memberiku kemuliaan ditengah pencobaan karena aku adalah anakNya. Ia akan membuat pencobaan sebagai berkat, mengajarku untuk belajar maksud-maksudNya, dan menyisipkan kepadaku kemuliaan yang Ia maksudkan sebagai anugerah. Akhirnya, pada saatNya, Ia dapat membawaku keluar kapan dan bagaimana caranya, hanya Dia yang tahu. Katakanlah: Aku disini oleh kehendakNya, dalam penjagaanNya, di bawah didikanNya, menurut waktunya."
Amsal mengatakan bahwa penderitaan merobek jiwa. Penderitaan itu memang menyakitkan dan kita tidak bisa minta agar dilewatkan dari penderitaan. Penderitaan merupakan bagian dari tanda kita mengasihi Allah. Yang harus kita tahu bahwa penderitaan tersebut harus dihadapi dengan sikap optimis, tenang, dan percaya kepada Allah. Jangan membiarkan penderitaan mengalahkan kita, karena segala sesuatu yang saat ini sedang terjadi Allah izinkan terjadi pada kita, dengan percaya penuh bahwa tanganNya tetap melindungi. Ia memberi penghiburan dan menambah kekuatan sehingga kita mampu menanggungnya. Percayalah bahwa pada saatnya dan menurut waktu Allah, Ia akan membawa kita keluar dari penderitaan.
